Since 2001, Eagle Vision One has been the leader and preferred provider of quality vision care products and personalized optometry services to our patients in Eagle, Meridian and the surrounding Boise area.

  • Eagle optometrist

    Aaron J. Warner O.D.

    Dr. Warner helped establish Eagle VISION One in 2001 and is a founding co-owner. He received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University, followed by his Doctor of Optometry as a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Houston, College of Optometry. He is a member of the Rigid Gas Permeable Lens Institute, the Idaho Optometric Physicians, and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Warner specializes in rigid gas permeable and soft contact lenses, pre/postoperative LASIK and cataract care, Corneal Refractive Therapy (orthokeratology), ocular disease, and general optometry. He also enjoys providing general optometry services for small children and infants. Dr. Warner currently serves on the State Board of Optometry in Idaho. Dr. Warner actively participates in various community organizations in Eagle and Star and speaks fluent Spanish. He enjoys running, and has finished several marathons, including the Boston Marathon in 2014. He and his wife, Michelle, have five children all attending schools in Eagle, and they enjoy family activities and sports including swimming, golf, basketball, skiing, hunting and fishing.

    Shawn C. Sorenson O.D.

    Dr. Sorenson helped establish Eagle VISION One in 2001 and is a founding co-owner. He graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Biology and a minor in chemistry. He then attended the University of Houston College of Optometry and graduated in the top of his class with Summa Cum Laude Honors. He received many honors and scholarships during his training. Dr. Sorenson is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Idaho Optometric Physicians. He specializes in contact lens fitting for both Rigid Gas Permeable and Soft. He also performs pre/post operative Refractive surgery care for LASIK, Cataracts, and implantable contact lenses. He enjoys ocular disease management as well as caring for all age groups. Dr. Sorenson currently serves as the Immediate Past President of the Idaho Optometric Physicians. This duty requires him to travel throughout the state and country as he labors for all patients and Doctors of Optometry. Dr. Sorenson has four children and actively serves with youth church groups. Dr. Sorenson speaks fluent Spanish from when he lived two years in Guatemala. He loves the outdoors, playing with his children, playing basketball, racquetball, skiing and golf. His wife is a former special education teacher at Eagle High School.

    Craig M. Moss O.D.

    Dr. Moss joined Eagle Vision One as an associate Doctor of Optometry in 2015. He attended both University of Utah and Brigham Young University for his undergraduate studies, graduating with a degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University. He then attended Southern College of Optometry and graduated at the top of his class with Magna Cum Laude honors. He maintained a scholarship all four years and received many awards throughout his studies there. He also received the Practice Management Award of Excellence, given to one of the top clinicians in the class. Dr. Moss is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Idaho Optometric Physicians. He specializes in diagnosing, treating and co-managing many different ocular diseases including: glaucoma, diabetes, high blood pressure, macular degeneration, and cataracts. He performs pre/post-operative care for LASIK and cataract surgeries. He also enjoys providing general optometry services to patients of all ages, including children. Dr. Moss was born and raised in Eagle, Idaho, and graduated from Eagle High School. He and his wife, Katie, have one child and love to spend their time in the beautiful Idaho outdoors as a family. Dr. Moss especially enjoys golfing and snow skiing.

    Gideon C. Bender O.D.

    Dr. Bender joined Eagle Vision One as an associate Doctor of Optometry in 2017. He obtained his undergraduate degree at Boise State University where he studied Biology. He then attended Pacific University College of Optometry in Portland, Oregon where he graduated with honors. He was a tutor in optics while attending school, and he was active in many clubs including President of The Sports Vision Club. He also spent time in school helping people in third world countries with their ocular health through The Amigos Club. During his education Dr. Bender was recognized and awarded for his leadership and patient care. Dr. Bender is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Idaho Optometric Physicians. He specializes in diagnosing and managing ocular disease, and performs pre/post-operative refractive surgery care for LASIK, cataracts, and implantable contact lenses. Dr. Bender was born in Boise, Idaho and graduated from Capital High School. He is active in the Basque community where he volunteers his time for The Basque Museum and Cultural Center and other organizations. Dr. Bender is an avid hiker, backpacker, and skier. He enjoys playing basketball, cycling, and attending musical performances.

    Hans O. Bjorn O.D.

    Dr. Bjorn specializes in treating Glaucoma, and managing Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, and Cataracts. He also treats Dry Eye Syndrome, Blepharitis, manages pre and postoperative LASIK, and practices general optometry including contact lens fitting. He enjoys providing general optometry services for children. Dr. Bjorn also speaks Portuguese.
